" What I found interesting with Camille, Boris Lojkine argues, was to approach this profession in a way quite different to what I saw in the cinema before. First, because she's a woman, a young woman. The fact that it is a young woman shifts us completely clichés of virility, adrenaline. That's what I found really exciting in addressing this subject through Camille. "

Boris Lojkine, already noticed in 2015 for Hope , a film about African migrants, wanted to turn on the scene of the disappearance of Camille Lepage. In Bangui, he created documentary workshops to train young people in the cinema. A long-term work, but that paid off, since these young people were then able to participate in the shooting of the film.
