Medical research has warned women who are pregnant or trying to have children from taking caffeine that carries damages to newborns, according to the site "Daily Mail" Britain.

Research was conducted on 1,200 women, and it was found that low amounts of caffeine also endanger a child's life before and after childbirth.

The study was led by the American Institute of Health Research, which said that any level of caffeine during pregnancy increases the rate of loss, especially in the first eight weeks.

The researchers found that women who drank 200 milligrams of caffeine or more had greater opportunities for abortion.
