A state of anticipation that usually dominates us as participants in an event, whether we are a platform participant, speaker, attendee or visitor, and, over the years, our pursuit of excellence makes us feel like the first time.

We just concluded our attendance at the 39th edition of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2019, and amid the remarkable success we witnessed, I and others felt that a question began to take the lead role in events that have been decades since its launch, such as: Hi year? ''

This question, and other similar questions, is motivated in my opinion by comparing those who ask for their feelings about the event in its early years and how it feels today.GITEX succeeded, but in the UAE we are fortunate to have a wise leadership that sees success as a prelude to a new and greater level of success.

I believe that in the UAE and Dubai we have reached a stage where we need to get the data to answer these kinds of questions.

It is increasingly important to use the latest data in the world to analyze our events data in Dubai, especially as we are presenting the largest and most prominent event «Expo 2020 Dubai», to achieve a qualitative leap in the returns of events and business tourism.

If all event data in Dubai are opened and shared within a single platform such as Dubai Pulse, the organizers will be able to plan, execute and achieve the desired return. The decision maker will also be able to make intelligent strategic decisions supported by the data. The number of attendees and participants, who come to the UAE and the Emirate as a result of events.

"What do you think of (GITEX) Hi year?", "What do you think of the shopping festival?"

I believe that our balance of global events we have hosted will make us the world's compass in planning and implementing world-class events and standards.
