Makoto Wada, an illustrator who worked on various genres such as book covers and picture book illustrations, died of pneumonia at a hospital in Tokyo on the 7th of this month. I was 83 years old.
Mr. Wada was born in Osaka in 1948 and graduated from Tama Art University. After working for an advertising production company, he became a freelance illustrator in 1968.
