A 35-year-old paratrooper died after jumping from a 2,000-foot plane as his body hit the ground as a parachute was supposed to open during the jump, according to the Daily Mail website.

He opened an investigation to find out why he was unable to open the parachute while doing one of the usual skydiving exercises.

The paratrooper was unable to open the parachute slider, and then resorted to the reserve parachute, which was suspended.

He was examined by a specialized medical team immediately after the impact, to find that he died immediately.
