Vanity Fair Spain has fired its fashion director, Beatriz Moreno de la Cova, after making "offensive and indefensible" comments in a publication on her Instagram account, as confirmed by Europa Press sources from the magazine.

"We have taken immediate action. As a company, we have zero tolerance for racism and any comments that evoke racism. This person no longer works for the company," Vanity Fair Spain said in a statement posted on his Instagram account.

The company refers to some comments made by Beatriz Moreno de la Cova in a story published in her social network account. "I am not racist, but it is that all the Chinese I see them and the same and the black ones too and the white ones too," he said.

Given these comments, Vanity Fair Spain has reaffirmed the commitment of its fashion and beauty publishing teams worldwide "to promote and celebrate diversity and inclusion".
