Two university students are unknown in Kochi Shimanto River During the river play September 13 21:52

On the evening of the 13th, the Shimanto River in Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture, where both the female university student who was drowning in the river and the male college student who was trying to help, could not know whereabouts, and the police are searching.

At around 5:00 pm on the 13th, the police reported to the nearby people that "a few people were swept away" in the Shimanto River flowing through Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture.

According to the police, the students who are missing are both university students, Hiroka Ogawa (21) in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, and Tatsunao Higashida (21) in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

According to the police, they were playing with 6 other friends, jumping from a bridge without parapet called “Katsuma Sink Bridge”, but Mr. Ogawa drowned and Mr. Higashida jumped into the river to help. After that, the two people disappeared.

The police are searching for the whereabouts of two people, including around the river.
