Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband, Nick Jonas, have won the most stylish title in 2019 from People magazine, the first time in the history of the magazine a couple shared this title.
Chopra, 37, who was Miss World and achieved fame in Hollywood and Bollywood, and Jonas, 26, topped the annual list of the most elegant celebrities published by the magazine, which included this year actor Billy Porter and tennis champion Serena Williams, as well as elegance world leaders such as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Celine Dion.
"This is the first time ever that a man or a couple has been in the top ten, not to mention being the most stylish," said Andrea Laventhal, director of the magazine's elegance and beauty department. "But we felt that these two deserved it."
Chopra married Jonas in New Delhi in December 2018, becoming one of the world's most famous couples.
