On the 2nd, at the kindergarten in Noda City, Chiba, which had just resumed after summer vacation, about 50 children were absent due to influenza, and the kindergarten was closed from 4th. This is the first time that an outbreak of influenza has been confirmed in Chiba Prefecture.

According to Chiba Prefecture, 49 out of 240 children from 2 to 5 years old in a private kindergarten in Noda City, which just resumed after summer vacation on the 2nd and 3rd. I was absent due to fever.

The absent kindergarten children complained of symptoms after the 27th of last month, and as a result of being examined by medical institutions, all were confirmed to be infected with influenza A. The kindergarten decided to be closed for 4 to 5 days.

According to Chiba Prefecture, this is the first time that the school has closed or closed classes due to influenza at preschools, kindergartens and elementary and junior high schools in the prefecture.

Chiba Prefecture is striving for prevention by early vaccination and thorough hand washing as the epidemic begins in earnest in the future, and is calling on medical institutions if symptoms occur.
