The Saudi Ministry of Health has provided a number of "important" advice for people with insomnia and difficulty sleeping, stressing avoiding stimulants and staying away from computers and smartphones.

Avoid stimulants: such as coffee and tea (4-6 hours before bedtime)

Set up your bedroom: A quiet room and a comfortable bed help you sleep peacefully

Stay away from devices: Leave your computer, TV and mobile out of your bedroom

Create a habit: following a routine before going to sleep helps you to sleep quickly

Organize your sleep: A regular sleep schedule helps you sleep better

Early Dinner: Avoid eating just before bedtime

Physical activity: Exercise daily

Consult a doctor: The ministry urged people with chronic insomnia or sleep disorders to consult a doctor immediately
