Connected waters off Senkaku Four ships of the China Coast Guard sailed on August 22 at 10:43
According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, four ships of the Chinese Coast Guard are navigating the connected water area just outside the Japanese territorial waters.
As of 9:00 am on the 22nd, two of the four ships are sailing about 37 to 39 kilometers northeast of Kuba Island in the Senkaku Islands, and the remaining two are sailing or staying about 37 kilometers west of Uo Fishing Island. So, the Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor the territorial waters.
