IKEA, the Swedish furniture brand, launched the 2020 catalog, with a new start logo, at an event held yesterday at its store in Dubai Festival City Mall.
The brand designed five homes for people from different regions and cultures, each reflecting diverse solutions, and meets five emotional needs: belonging, owning, comfort, security and privacy.
“With different personalities and tastes in the UAE, we look forward to providing better solutions for everyone and believe that focusing on sleep to improve life is central to the 2020 catalog,” said Vinod Jayan, CEO of IKEA in the UAE, Egypt and Oman.
At the event, IKEA announced the results of its online survey that examined the most popular scents in the UAE. The results of the survey, which gathered the views of more than 4000 respondents that people prefer refreshing smells of acidic or mint and fruit scents, with 55% of respondents said they raise a sense of happiness.
The things they like to smell are first and foremost the smell of new books (60%).
