The Ramsay General Health Group suffered a "viral attack" early in the weekend. All the establishments it manages in France have been affected.

The management of the group Ramsay, which manages 120 health facilities in France, confirmed that these institutions had targeted a "viral attack" triggered Saturday morning, as reported by several media such as France 3 and La Voix du Nord .

"No consequences for patients"

In the northern daily, the group refuses to give details of this attack, for "security reasons". Several positions have been affected, including "messaging, computer systems and business applications".

"There will be no consequences for patients, for the continuity of care and for their safety," says the Ramsay Group. France 3 reveals that operations and care were canceled and postponed, "without consequences for patients".

An attempt to ransom?

"We record information on paper and we will postpone it later in our computer system. We also place some orders by phone and no longer by computer.Lucky, in August, our activity is a little slow," says the group from La Voix du Nord , to whom it has not been confirmed that a ransom was requested. France 3 asserts that an "attempted ransom" did indeed take place.
