Before the last clashes in the street and the battles in Telegram had time to make noise, the State Duma initiated the creation of a special working group to study materials on possible attempts and actions taken to interfere in the elections in the Russian Federation. Three leaders of the factions immediately addressed the parliamentary speaker Volodin. The deputies were outraged by the suspicious activity of our esteemed partners during the capital's protests. If anyone forgot, then remind.

The US Embassy in Moscow announced in advance the route of the unauthorized rally, which was due on August 3. At the very end, a sympathetic American embassy asked to avoid this route. Already a tear welling up from such a concern for their citizens. Of course, all this information just urged people to take to the streets and actually provided a detailed map.

Other respected partners were also noted: official Berlin expressed concern about the large number of people detained at the uncoordinated protest rally on August 3. “Hundreds of participants were again arrested at demonstrations in Moscow. The arrests were by no means proportional to the peaceful nature of the protests, ”the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Further, the foreign ministry mentor reports to the Kremlin for violating its international obligations, which calls into question the freedom and honesty of the elections.

Further - more: according to the German Foreign Ministry, the Russian authorities are interfering in the "guaranteed right to peaceful assembly and freedom of speech." This epic and stunning insolence statement ends with a demand for the immediate release of all peaceful, kind demonstrators and the inclusion in the electoral lists of liberal candidates with false signatures. It seems that the German Foreign Ministry exhaled, as soon as the call came from the UK to urgently raise the issue of infringement of civil and political freedoms in PACE.

Of course, on the one hand, it is ridiculous when some Britain speaks about the infringement of civil liberties, while the British mounted police crush bloggers (sic!) With their hooves (sic!), And in France, people rip off their hands on yellow vests , legs, knock out eyes and hammer really half to death. In Paris, I observed clashes with the police more than once - and a sight, I tell you, something else. This is not our polite riot police who held back even when they were grossly insulted (such videos are widely walked on the net - whoever wants to will find and watch).

It’s not at all comical: all the accompaniment of Moscow events in the West is not only interference in the internal affairs of Russia, but also ideological preparation for interference in the Russian elections in the broadest sense of the word.

Against this background, the aforementioned initiative of the leaders of the State Duma factions (Zhirinovsky, Zyuganov and Mironov) just looks relevant to consider creating a special working group to study materials on possible attempts and actions taken to intervene in the elections.

It is important that the United Russia faction considers this initiative deserving of support, which means that the council, headed by the chairman of the Duma, is likely to give a green light to its implementation. According to Andrei Isaev, an EP deputy, the State Duma’s Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption has already requested confirmation from law enforcement agencies and the Russian Foreign Ministry about possible stakeholders who took part in the monitoring of the protests.

“We want to figure out which states and for what purpose carried out this kind of interference, who in Russia illegally received support and material assistance from abroad, or maybe directly acted as agents of influence of foreign states,” said United Russia.

Today it is already known that this will be a public, open parliamentary investigation, which will attract experts, specialists and all interested departments. On the one hand, it was possible to limit ourselves to just one note of protest from the Foreign Ministry: well, think of it, the Americans made a “road map” for the opposition, and the German Foreign Ministry teaches us how to deal with our professional loafers. But this is only the tip of the iceberg, albeit the most noticeable one. The artificial political confrontation, promoted out of the blue, unfortunately, is just a prologue to serious political events that (I would like) did not become cataclysms.

In view of this, public bodies should already be created today to analyze and investigate all actions aimed at undermining the constitutional system by foreign states. In this sense, the initiative of the leaders of the three factions deserves not only the closest attention, but also the support of the leadership of the State Duma (which I have no doubt). Already a lot over the past few decades, we have gained experience. This should be taken seriously.
