Dubai Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle 800,000 tablets of the drug "Captagon" into the country, which was hidden in a fuel tank of a boat in a quality control called "World Anti-Drug Day". Shuaib Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director of Customs Intelligence, The Intelligent Risk Engine System, developed and developed by Dubai Customs, has contributed directly to uncovering this control through the system's ability to assess various security, economic, environmental and social risks.

He added that a team from the Special Tasks Section has been tracking the suspicious cargo and checking and inspecting it. This section, which is the arm of the customs intelligence department at the land and maritime customs centers, has special skills in inspecting the goods and containers thanks to the experience gained from the field work and the specialized courses he joined The team also coordinates with the security authorities with regard to the controlled delivery of containers and shipments that come out of the customs barrier and the participation of field teams of the security authorities in the inspections.

For his part, the Director of the Jebel Ali Customs Department, Yousuf Al Hashimi, said that Dubai Customs has been able to deal with high efficiency in trying to smuggle this large quantity of narcotic pills thanks to the vigilance and security sense of customs inspection officers and cooperation and full coordination between the customs departments in combating the smuggling of prohibited materials.
