A Russian court has sentenced a man who killed a Russian beauty queen to 21 years in a car accident, the Interfax news agency reported.
The victim won the Miss Chelyabinsk City Miss, located in the Russian Ural Mountains.
The victim disappeared in July last year when she met a 24-year-old boy to sell him her Skoda for about $ 8,000. Her body was found shortly after in Kizlski, with indications that the victim died after being subjected to violence.
The authorities say the man, who was not identified, beat her several times with a hammer, killed her and then fled in her car.
