Mick Jagger successfully operated, the Rolling Stones can go on tour in the United States and Canada from June 21st.

The Rolling Stones announced Thursday that they will begin a June 21 tour of the United States and Canada initially postponed due to the health status of their recently successful singer Mick Jagger. "We are pleased to announce today the new tour dates in the United States and Canada!" Reads the website of the legendary British rock band.

Replacement of a heart valve

The Rolling Stones reported in March the postponement of 17 concerts saying that "the doctors (had) explained to Mick Jagger that he could not go on tour because he needed medical care". The 75-year-old British rock star reassured her fans a few days later by announcing that she had been operated on, saying she felt "much better" in a message posted on Twitter. The exact nature of the procedure is not known, but the specialized Billboard site said it was a replacement for a heart valve.

"Looking forward to seeing you!", Tweeted Mick Jagger Thursday, after having published the day before a video showing him, visibly in top form, chaining the furious dance steps of which he has the secret, on the floor of a rehearsal room . The 17-date tour begins June 21 at Soldier Field, the Chicago Bears' football stadium, and ends August 31 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
