UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed condolences to the Lebanese people on the death of Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir.
"Our condolences to the brotherly Lebanese people on the death of the Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir ... was a force for making peace and stabilizing Lebanon ... and a true example of a humble and loving cleric of the values of justice and peace," he said in his account on Twitter.
Last Sunday, the death of former Maronite patriarch Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir was announced in Lebanon, at the age of 99.
