With a large contingent, the police moved again in the quiet village of Altschauerberg on the weekend. The inhabitants of the village of 40 souls have to be regularly protected by the officials - most recently at the end of August.

There, about half an hour's drive from Nuremberg, lives the Youtuber "dragon lord1510" - and has many enemies. "There were several appointments on the internet where events were supposed to take place here, and Saturday was the most likely to be left over," said police spokesman Rainer Seebauer from the Central Franconia Bureau loudly saying "tz". The mission lasted until Sunday morning.

According to several media reports, police vehicles stood at every corner to prevent the "Schanzenfest" announced in the network. Access roads to the village were closed, uniformed patrolled the streets, residents had to identify themselves. The feared protests were missing.

"I beat the shit out of you"

"Drachenlord", which is actually called Rainer Winkler, revealed his home address in a video in 2013. "Come to me and hang out with me, I'll beat the shit out of you," he had said at the time, apparently after his sister had received an intimidating phone call from one of his viewers.

Winkler and his critics have been arguing for several years. He publishes videos about his life and also provokes with extreme views - once he described the Holocaust as a "nice thing". His critics insult him and make fun of his looks, his weight and his views.

Since then, unknown persons drove to Winkler's house and were sometimes overblown. He was beaten and thrown at by a masked man with eggs. Videos of the actions landed on the net.

About 800 opponents came to the place

In 2016, the Nuremberg district court sentenced a then 24-year-old to a multiple-year prison sentence. In addition to a number of other crimes he had dropped a false emergency call and thus triggered a major police and firefighting operation at the "dragon lord".

At the end of August, about 600 to 800 predominantly young men came to the village. The police pronounced about 300 place referrals.
