" The alert is given this Saturday morning, by the prefect of Calvados while the actions of yellow vests on the ring of Caen are multiplying. Angry against rising fuel prices, the demonstrators carry out snail operations in different strategic places of the peri-urban boulevard since the beginning of morning, in particular on the side of the door of Spain, in Ifs, or between Mondeville and Caen.
Closed portions
As a result, several portions have been closed to traffic for security reasons. It is thus impossible to drive between the gates 11 (Norman Switzerland) and 14 (Cormelles-le-Royal), and at the roundabout of the Criée, in Giberville.

The prefecture also reports a filter dam on the RN13, between Caen and Bayeux, "at the radar", as well as people on the road at the gate of Britain, which leads to the A84.

Vests also in the city center
In addition, a convoy of cyclists left the Rives de l'Orne to reach the city center, at the theater level, this Saturday morning. The approximately 120 people who composed it then dismounted to demonstrate in the streets, joined by hundreds of other disgruntled.
In total, no less than 1,500 demonstrators put on their vests in Calvados for this day of mobilization. One of the main points of blockage remains that of the Dozulé toll, even if the motorists can, slowly, cross it.
