After the spring days, changeable April weather can be expected at the start of the new week. Deep "Louie" brings significantly cooler air to Germany, the temperatures drop significantly, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. In the nights and in the early morning lows below zero degrees are possible. The sun is rarely seen until the middle of the week.

On Monday, the DWD expects widespread showers, the sky is often cloudy. The maximum temperatures reach 6 to 9, in the northwest and near the Rhine by 11 degrees. The wind blows sometimes strong to stormy, on the lake there can be storms. At night it cools down to plus 4 to minus 3, in the mountains it is possible to minus 5 degrees. The DWD warns of smoothness.

Tuesday also starts cloudy. Towards the afternoon, it clears up a bit, the temperatures reach 7 degrees on the coast and 12 degrees on the Upper Rhine. At night, the temperatures fall again to Wednesday morning then plus 5 to minus 1 degree, with greater loosening up in the mountains to minus 3 degrees.

The good news is: From Wednesday, Germany can look forward to more sun. It usually stays dry at 6 to 14 degrees.
