High "Frauke" brings a lot of sunshine on weekends. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the spring time is above all in the west and southwest. It can get up to 13 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Since "Frauke" also brings fresh easterly winds, according to the meteorologists, despite abundant sun, cold and dry mainland air prevails. In northeastern Germany, temperatures should not rise above three to five degrees. In the night to Sunday it could even be frost.

Up to 17 degrees in the west

It should be sunny and rather mild on Sunday and at the beginning of the week. Clouds hardly show up. While the temperatures are likely to be between 9 and 14 degrees, at the beginning of next week in the west spring-like 17 degrees are possible.

Meanwhile in Karlsruhe sunbathing, the outdoor pool season has already begun on Friday. Around 30 bathers jumped into the 28 degrees warm water. The open-air swimming pool next to a large thermal power plant is always open from February to the first Advent. The colder the air, the more the pool is heated.
