The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has developed an early warning system to send warning messages over communications networks to reach the public at the specified location on their mobile phones in seconds, without affecting the performance of telecommunications networks in the country.

To activate the early warning feature on your phone, perform the following steps:
- Access phone accounts> and alerts
- Access SMS text setup
- Select Alerts> then click "OK"
