A surveillance camera at a US hospital in Virginia has shown a mother a terrible act towards her five-year-old son, as the mother injected blood into his body, the Daily Mail reported.
Elizabeth Malone, 29, poisoned her son by injecting blood through his mouth and nose, justifying that she wanted her child to receive the attention of doctors.
The doctors discovered what the mother had done after they noticed that his condition had deteriorated, forcing them to review the surveillance cameras installed in the child's room.
The doctors explained that the child was hospitalized for an unknown bleeding, and stayed for two months before the crime.
The doctors who supervised his treatment said he was about to die when the crime occurred in late 2018, but he recovered and returned to his school after being fully recovered.
Police arrested the mother, who did not recognize her crime at first until she was confronted with video clips, denied her poisoning her son, claiming that she was injecting her child with her blood, to give the doctors more attention.
