Abu Dhabi Food Festival - Abu Dhabi Food Festival - Abu Dhabi today hosted the event that witnessed the registration of the UAE chicken dish as a new world record for the largest dish in the world at the Abu Dhabi Food Festival at Abu Dhabi Corniche. The weight of the chicken platter was 4775 kg, beating the previous world record at 695 kg.
This dish was prepared as part of the annual festival and supported by Etihad Airways in their own facilities in Al Ain. Etihad Airways also sent 20 cooks to prepare the dish, and the cooking process continued from 8 am to 12:30 pm. The entry of the UAE label was confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records and officially received. The event attracted hundreds of visitors who gathered to witness the event. Some of the attendees were given the chance to sample the dish, while the rest were donated to the charity.
