Jeff Bizos, the founder and chief executive of Amazon Group, the world's richest man, announced yesterday that he had divorced his wife McKinsey after a 25-year association.
"We want to tell people about the progress of our lives, we decided to divorce and continue to live as friends," said Bezos, 54, and McKenzie, 48, in a tweet posted on his Twitter account.
"We will remain a family and dear friends," the duo said, noting that they have been partners in companies and projects for a quarter of a century.
McKenzie Bezos is a novelist, one of the first employees at Amazon and founded in 2014 the anti-harassment Bai Standard Revolution.
