The New York University Institute of Abu Dhabi (ADU) announced its exceptional program of dialogue events and free public presentations throughout November, part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.

The Institute, which was founded in 2008 as a center for advanced research, educational potential and creative activities, attracts a group of outstanding academic staff, professional professors and leading figures from all over the world to participate in its academic conferences and public programs to discuss areas and research topics of interest to the local and international arenas.

The event, organized by the Institute during November, will include a lecture entitled "Diplomacy in the Age of Social Networks and Counterfeit News", "Everything for Sale: Great Arts and Crazy Money", premiered in the Middle East in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Art, as well as an interview with the former Chairman of the Guggenheim Museum of Genealogy, Jennifer Belle Stokman, on the role of art and artistic passion in contemporary societies and a dialogue with historian, author and environmental activist Peter Helier on the role of the late father and founder Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in projects that have yielded a Maintenance of two of the most important nature reserves. The professor of international history at the London School of Economics and Politics, Professor Vladislav Zubok, gives a lecture entitled "Reform to Death: The Strange End of the Soviet Union," examining the economic, political, ideological and international reasons for the collapse of the Soviet Union as well as the role of political factors. Since its inception, the New York University Institute of Abu Dhabi has hosted more than 700 academic conferences and public effectiveness, hosting more than 700 speakers from around the world.
