The director of the beginnings, who is the spiritual father of the Lebanese cinema George Nasr, left Lebanon today after he placed Lebanon on the map of the Cannes International Film Festival since 1957.
The Lebanese national news agency said that the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon will be deposited on Thursday, George Nasr, who passed away for 92 years.
Nasr is the first to contribute to the local film industry, most notably the film "Where to", which participated in the Cannes festival and photographed some of his scenes in the northern town of Ehden.
The film "Where to" highlights the suffering of Lebanese immigrants to America and Brazil and the tragic circumstances in which they live.
