A motorcyclist comes to be sentenced to pay a heavy fine for having multiplied the offenses. Flashed more than a hundred times in six months, he taunted the authorities by making an obscene gesture on the photo of the radar. For twelve months, he is pedestrian.

A motorcyclist from Tarn-et-Garonne was sentenced by the Montauban Police Court to a fine of € 19,220.00 and twelve months of driving license suspension. Although denying being the biker photographed, having lent his bike to several people, he was judged for 125 speeding contested by different radars. Facts that took place between June 2017 and January 2018.

"The investigation was entrusted to the Moissac motorized brigade, unit attached to the departmental road safety squadron" as specified by the gendarmerie of Tarn-et-Garonne on his Facebook account.

"The investigations undertaken for nearly 4 months, have confused the owner of the bike," continue the gendarmes.

It must be said that the rider had warmed them well. He was having fun, at the moment of being flashed to make fingers of honor and also to cross the white line. The license plate of his motorcycle had also been hidden to avoid appearing in the photo.

"In addition to the 78 speeds recorded, the person has made his license plate illegible 35 times and voluntarily crossed the continuous line many times," explain the gendarmes.

He thought he could not be identified, but it was not counting on the obstinacy of the investigators who took four months to find out.

Gendarmes Moissac cut photos and used geolocation by mobile phone to find the driver, as reported Radio Totem.
