"With you", the disc that Sylvie Vartan decided to devote to her "first love" will be released just days before the singer's birthday. It will include fifteen titles, including several songs representative of all periods of his career, a personal message and a Beatles cover.

Sylvie Vartan will take thirteen iconic songs from Johnny Hallyday, in a tribute album entitled With you ... It will be released on November 30, announced this Saturday the press secretary of the singer. Almost a year after the death of the "idol of young people" on December 5, 2017 at the age of 74, following a cancer.

Johnny Hallyday's thirteen titles, selected by his wife from 1965 to 1980, come from all periods of his career.

In my Life , Beatles

Among them, The music I love (1973) , Gabrielle ( 1976), Hold the night (1961) , Something from Tennessee (1985) , That I love you (1969) or Blood for blood (1999), composed by their son David Hallyday for the album of the same name. The biggest sale of Johnny to date (2 million copies).

Two other titles will complete this album-tribute: The message, spoken text recorded by Sylvie Vartan in tribute to the one who was his "first love" , and In my life of the Beatles, song that Sylvie and Johnny listened a lot when they were together.

The cover of the album is a beautiful black and white photo taken in the 1960s by Jean-Marie Périer, photographer yéyés. On the left, we see Sylvie Vartan on stage during a concert. On his back, behind the curtain, we see the shadow of Johnny Hallyday who looks at her.

The disc is not signed "Sylvie Vartan" but simply "Sylvie", wink at the time of the yéyés during which the fans designated the two stars only by their first name. This release will take place a little more than a month after that, on October 19, Johnny's posthumous album, My Country is Love, sold since more than a million copies.

Sylvie Vartan is currently on tour with a show in which she takes a dozen hits of Johnny Hallyday. She will sing in particular on November 24 in Lyon, December 5 (anniversary of the death of Johnny) in Saint-Quentin in the Aisne and December 12 in Brussels.
