A man charged his cell phone during a break-in in Cologne. When he fled, however, he forgot the phone in the apartment - and returned to pick it up.

According to police, the suspect had entered Saturday through a tilted window in the apartment in downtown Cologne and had stolen the credit card of the resident.

When he left the apartment, however, the man forgot his cell phone, which he had stored on a table, and later returned to the scene. Accordingly, the man knocked on the window and said: "My cell phone is still in the apartment." The woman did not hand him the device.

Using a description of the man, the officers were able to grab him shortly thereafter near the apartment. The police-known burglar was arrested.
