In May, Serebrennikov’s film “Summer” won one of the prizes of the 71st Cannes Film Festival.
"Summer" also became the opening film at the Kinotavr film festival.
On November 7, the court will begin consideration of the case of Serebrennikov, who is accused of embezzling 133 million rubles allocated for the development and popularization of modern art in Russia as part of the Platform project.
