Hundreds of people gathered in Ostritz in the Upper Lusatia on Saturday evening to hear two right-hand scene bands live. The two groups appeared on the site of a former hotel.

Around midnight, policemen and other witnesses from the event hall heard Sieg Heil cries. At the same time residents complained about the volume. The attending officials called for reinforcement. After this arrived, the police ended the concert around 1.10 o'clock.

State protection is now investigating the use of license plates of unconstitutional organizations.

The 2300-inhabitant town of Ostritz, located on the border with Poland, was repeatedly the scene of right-rock concerts. At the beginning of November, thousands of citizens had resisted a neo-Nazi festival in the village.
