Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4, the boats of participants of the Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe will leave the basins of the port of Saint-Malo to start the race. To witness the passage of the locks, here are the schedules and prohibitions to follow this spectacular moment.

One of the most anticipated shows of this Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe is going to be the exit of the boats of the basins of the port of Saint-Malo. The 123 boats will be divided into different airlock from 13 h 03 Saturday until Sunday 4:45. The show can be seen from the land or the sea.

But to limit "the danger represented by the risks of collisions between the competing ships and the pleasure craft spectators at the exit of the lock of Naye" , the sub-prefecture of Saint-Malo has taken a decree to modify the regulation port police.

Prohibition to navigate

The organizer of the Route du Rhum, OC Sports Pen Duick asked to prohibit the access of pleasure craft in the outer harbor, its extension and in the Bay of Dinard, Saturday, November 3, from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Sunday, November 4, from 1 am to 1 pm The access of pleasure craft to competitors and assistance vessels, beach gear, jet skis and non-registered vessels is therefore prohibited.

Schedules

The airlock hours are set for Multi Rum and Mono Rum on Saturday at 13:03, 14:03 and 15:03. The Multi 50 will be released on Saturday at 16:03. The Class 40 will be held on Saturday at 17:03. Sunday at 3:45 and 4:45. The Ultimate Use it again will be released on Saturday at 5:03 pm. The Imoca will leave on Saturday at 6:03 pm and Sunday at 4:45 am.

The Ultime located outside the basins will have to leave their place at 7 o'clock on Sunday.
