"There were 35 established knots, gusts to 45, I was in declining mode, two ris-staysail, it hit a lot with a sea cross in all directions, it was a real minefield, we always had it. feeling like breaking the boat, " he explained after the first fight.

Subsequently, the skipper was able to enjoy optimal conditions to cross the Atlantic, before touring Guadeloupe in just over ten hours. At 35, Richomme is offering a prestigious line, on a CV that already has two second places in the Transat Ag2r and the Transat Jacques Vabre, and a victory at Le Figaro in 2016.
