Abu Dhabi Police has decided to prevent the entry of trucks and heavy vehicles into the capital through the Arabian Gulf Road from 6 am to 6 pm during the opening of the International Defense Exhibition "EDEX" and Navalex Maritime Defense on Sunday.
The traffic flow on the Arabian Gulf Road will be partially closed from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the traffic and traffic will be diverted to alternate routes via the Dia Bridge and the Sheikh Zayed Bridge.
The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department in the Central Operations Sector, Brigadier Khalifa Mohammed Al Khaili, said that the Directorate will implement a comprehensive traffic plan in conjunction with IDEX, which includes the publication of traffic patrols on all roads leading to the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center, and the intensification of traffic control through smart systems, Which reflects a positive image of participants in the events of IDEX, which has become one of the most important exhibitions of global defense industries.
Al-Khaili called on motorists to abide by the traffic law and the instructions of traffic patrol elements and the use of alternative roads pointing to the presence of traffic patrols on all roads leading to the event to supervise traffic and traffic.
