At the gates of Caen coming from Falaise, the blue roundabout of Ifs (Calvados) is the nerve center of the action of the Yellow Vests, Monday, November 19, 2018, in the agglomeration of Caen. It has been busy since this weekend by opponents of rising fuel taxes, among others. This afternoon, some cars manage to pass, especially if they wear a yellow vest on their dashboard.

This Monday noon, some 300 yellow vests still block the blue roundabout of Ifs, above the ring road of Caen. Some cars are idling but all the trucks are blocked on the roundabout, as well as on the ring when arriving from Fleury-sur-Orne. Traffic is limited to the strict minimum.

All night from Sunday to Monday, 200 to 300 yellow vests provided a presence at the roundabout. Warming around pallet lights and rubbish. Traffic on the southern ring road, between the Porte d'Espagne and Cormelles-le-Royal, is totally nil. Deviations have been put in place for motorists.
