The Paris judicial police arrested Wednesday night in the Yvelines, a man on the run for two years and alleged perpetrator of two attempts to kill by firearm.

The judicial enforcement unit (BEDJ) of the judicial police in Paris arrested a 31-year-old man on Wednesday night in Sartrouville (Yvelines). The man had been on the run for two years.

He is suspected of having, in May 2016, fired on the bouncer of a nightclub on rue de Ponthieu, close to the Champs-Elysées, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Arrested the following month, he was detained for two months before being released under judicial supervision.

The man, already known to police for extortion with violence, robbery, threats, did not respect this judicial control and is suspected of another attempted murder by gun in Stains (Seine-Saint-Denis ) in December 2017.

An arrest warrant had been issued against him. It was to be presented to a magistrate Bobigny during the day, according to the same source.
