A medical report on the health of US President Donald Trump said his weight has increased significantly over the past year and is now in the obesity phase, although he is still "very well in general."

However, the 72-year-old president weighed 110.2 kg compared with the weight of 108.4 kg at the beginning of 2018. The amount of weight gain with a body mass index (Trump) was increased to obesity, which increases the risk of heart disease and is associated with an increased risk of cancer.

"After taking into account all the laboratory results, tests and specialist recommendations, my report is that the president is still very well in general," said Sean Connelly, a Trump doctor.

Last year, Trump advised him to try to lose between 4.5 kg and 6.8 kg of weight by improving the quality of his food and exercising.

Aides to Trump say he preferred fish to red meat often during the year, and his main source of sport is golf.
