These are beautiful versions of the songs of Jacques Brel, known or a little less, that the singer, missing in May, had recorded. His daughter Lou told us about this last album.
"She started with songs from Brel. She interpreted it as nobody, " insists his daughter, Lou. Jacques Brel was already part of the repertoire of Maurane when she started in the street, at 13-14 years, purple poncho and orange hair ... It was the beginning of the 1970s.
Maurane had even participated in the three versions (1979, 1982, 1986) of the show Brel in 80 songs . So, this album tribute to Brel is hardly surprising.
