A worker discovered a cache of weapons containing guns and cartridges hidden in the false ceiling of a primary school washroom. An investigation has been opened.

A worker who intervened Monday in the toilets of the Jean Zay primary school in Saint-Jean-de-Bray discovered, hidden in the false ceiling, two guns and ammunition, reveals the Parisian. "There is a Glock 17 pistol with 17 9-mm rounds and a 22-long Rifle revolver and forty ammunition," a source close to the case said.
One of the workers first took the weapons home before bringing them back the next day to the construction site and to inform the municipal police. "For now, no track has been uncovered to identify the owner or owners of these handguns," adds another source.
An investigation, conducted by the police departmental security Loiret, is underway to determine who has hidden these weapons and for what purpose.
