For two years she will be on stage in December 2018 at the MGM's Park Theater. The media service "Variety" reported, citing an unspecified source, planned 74 dates with a possible extension. Per show Lady Gaga is to receive more than a million dollar fee.

The artist announced in a statement that the show would be different than anything Las Vegas has ever seen. Recently, Mariah Carey had extended her concert series "# 1 to Infinity" for two years. Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez are also performing there.

Concert residencies, a series of concerts in the same place, are a tradition in Las Vegas since the then immensely popular showman Liberace began in 1944. Legendary are also the performances of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Prince.

Celine Dion's Las Vegas series "A New Day ..." is considered the most successful of all time. The concerts ran from 2003 to 2007, the 717 individual shows saw nearly three million viewers.
