The prosecution accused her of being a "reckless and controlled rapist". As the Guardian reports, Karen White was sentenced to life imprisonment. The West Yorkshire court finds it proven that the 52-year-old has molested two women in custody. In addition, she has raped two women outside the prison.
White was detained in August for threatening her 66-year-old neighbor with a steak knife. The Department of Justice now apologized for the decision to take White to a women's prison. One did not take sufficient account of the prisoner's past. According to his own words, White is currently in the process of a biological sex match from a man to a woman.
"A danger to children and women"
Prosecutor Chris Dunn said that White is an "alleged transgender person" who wanted to be close to women and children by default. The perpetrator was already known to the judiciary as a man and was sentenced to several moral crimes against women, children and animals in court.
"You are a rapist and you are highly manipulative, in my opinion they are a danger to children, women and the general public," the judge said. The sentence amounts to at least eight and a half years in prison.
At the verdict, White was jailed by video. She is now in the HMP Leeds Detention Center, a men-only prison.
