In Granville, the protest against rising fuel prices, among others, continues this Saturday afternoon, November 17. Despite a slight shortness of breath compared to this morning, the yellow vests expect to remain mobilized, until the end of the day at least.
"It's a little pissed off this afternoon," says Dominique, protester from Saint-Pierre-Langers, present since this morning at the supermarket roundabout Leclerc Granville to participate in the growl of yellow vests.
Indeed, while nearly 300 people met early, this Saturday, November 17, the Granville movement heats up and runs out of steam at midday.
"The police are much more present this afternoon and show greater surveillance, which promotes this climate of tension," notes Dominique.
However, the yellow vests do not intend to demobilize. On the contrary. Filter dams continue, but still no blocking to declare.
"Above all, there must be no excesses, it is precisely by organizing citizen movements like this in a pacifist atmosphere that we can make the leaders of the country react. "
The Yellow Vests nevertheless regret the absence of a "true leader". Without precise instructions, the Granvillais feel "a little lost" in the organization of their actions.
"This is the first time that a movement of this magnitude is born, we must see what it will give," relativizes Dominique.
