A six-month-old baby fell on Friday night from the second floor of a refugee shelter in Herne. It later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, said a police spokesman in Bochum.
The child fell out of the window about eight meters deep. Whether it is an accident or an offense, is unclear. It will be determined.
