Hedgerows, carbon sinks, ready for stock market entry

Farmers in Brittany and the Pays de la Loire stocking carbon with their hedges would offset companies' CO2 emissions. The Carbocage project is considering a non-speculative local carbon market.

With their hedges, farmers hold an effective weapon against global warming. This linear forest absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the main greenhouse gases.
