HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, met today with His Highness Sheikh Hazza Ali Al Mansouri and Sultan Saif Al Neiadi, UAE's first astronauts. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed briefed the participants on the stages of the UAE's astronauts program and the pilots' training at the Yuri Gagarin Center for Astronaut Training. The agreement was signed by the United Arab Emirates, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and the Russian Federation, Roscosmos, to send the first UAE astronaut to participate in scientific research in a Russian space mission to the International Space Station.
