A 19-year-old was thrown from a fully occupied car in an accident on the A59 near Duisburg and was overrun. He had suffered deadly injuries, police said in Dusseldorf.

The four other men in the car at the age of 22 and 23 were injured, two of them seriously. They had met the 19-year-olds according to their information on the same evening.

The driver of the car lost control of the car early Saturday morning at the junction Duisburg-Hochfeld. That got into a spin and overturned. The passenger was thrown out of the car. He stayed on the highway and was hit by another vehicle. He died at the accident site.
