Fans rarely come so close to their idols: After a plane crash, Canadian actor Keanu Reeves was stuck with numerous passengers at a small California airport. According to the US Vulture portal, the machine Reeves was in was forced to land at Meadows Field Airport on the way from Los Angeles to San Francisco due to a defect.

The star joined the other stranded. And even explained to his fellow travelers how the journey could continue after the breakdown. "Keanu fixes that," a user commented on a Twitter video from the airport.

Subsequently, Reeves drove with other passengers in a minibus back to Los Angeles. The videos show how the actor slipped into the role of a tour guide during the bus ride, read about the city of Bakersfield and played music on his cell phone.

The other passengers seemed to cheer up Reeves presence at least. "When your plane almost crashes and you're stranded at a remote airport, but Keanu Reeves has just as bad a day as you," a man commented on the selfie with the star.
