Police unions denounce messages calling for hatred and violence for the night of 31 October.

Unions Unit SGP Police and Alternative Police CFDT have chosen to relay on social networks a hate message from the Essonne and become viral. Not to support this message but to warn the authorities of the risk it runs.

The text, which contains many spelling errors, calls for a "purge" in Corbeil-Essonnes, which consists of increasing theft, car and garbage fires, as well as assaults on police officers. A "purge" that would begin on the evening of October 31, which is Halloween night.

Police targeted on Sunday in Essonne

This call, relayed via Snapchat, Twitter or Facebook, was launched in response to the prohibition of a rap video shoot in the city of Tarterêts, Corbeil-Essonnes.

It is part of a tense context in the field. Sunday night, several police officers fell into a "trap" during an intervention in Corbeil. Vehicles were set on fire and projectiles were thrown.

Unions appeal to the government

Asked on CNews Monday, Julien Morcrette, Deputy Secretary General of Alternative Police CFDT, calls the government to "type quickly and judicially speaking about the individuals" behind the call, deemed "infamous" by the MP for the Essonne Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.

Yves Lefebvre, from Unité SGP Police, wrote to Christophe Castaner, Minister of the Interior, and Laurent Nuñez, Secretary of State, to ask them to file a complaint.

The authorities will be particularly vigilant on Wednesday night

The call for the "purge" of police for Halloween, Wednesday, October 31, "far beyond the Essonne, " according to the departmental director of public security of Essonne, Jean-Francois Papineau. The latter announced "great vigilance over the entire territory within the jurisdiction of the National Police" in the columns of the Parisian .
